Messages that help most
Errors. A puzzle answer that does not hold, a count that is off, a chart figure that does not match its data file, a wrong page or section number for a primary text, a date that is wrong. Name the page and, if you can, the source that shows the problem. Corrections that hold up are made on the page and listed on the corrections page, with a wrong answer kept and struck through rather than deleted.
Leads on sources. The first printing of a puzzle, a public-domain edition of a primary text, or an open dataset that could replace a weaker source. Please include the link to the page where you found it and the license or terms it carries, since material can be used here only when its license allows reuse on a site like this one.
Another reading of a rule. A puzzle's wording can sometimes be read in more than one way. If you think an entry's statement of a rule leaves out a reading that changes the answer, describe it. The About page explains how answers are checked.
