"title": "Anscombe's quartet: statistics for each set",
"description": "Every statistic quoted on the Anscombe's quartet page, one statistic per row with its value for each of the four sets to four decimals, how far the four values agree (exactly, or to a number of significant figures), the shared rounded value, and the method: means, sample variances (divisor 10), Pearson correlation, least-squares slope, intercept, R squared and residual standard error; medians, Spearman rank correlation (average ranks for ties), largest residual, smallest and largest y and the number of different x values; and set-specific rows (the parabola through set 2, the line through set 3 without its third point, the leverage of set 4's point at x = 19), marked by set. Computed from the values as distributed with R; the original 1973 publication was not consulted here. Retrieved 2026-10-31.
